Our Diary for Haywards Road, Haywards Heath

These new works were started by our Peter and Will on Monday 26th January 2004

The original main drive was long and narrow with tight access due to the mature hedging. Our first action was to rip out the hedge sympathetically and replace with a sturdy closeboard fence.

The drive being long and narrow allowed no further and this again was addressed in our plan.

As for the rear patio, this was designed to allow for 2 seating areas and simple steps to reach the upper lawn.

All the patio and drive areas to be paved in real stone.The drive to incorporate areas of red brick to tone with the features of the dwelling

Works to be completed in both the front and rear gardens based on Ian's sketches given in November

Rear allows a pleasant seating area

Our new little Hanix digger was soon put to work!

During the works the job was extended with extra fencing and turfing to complete
