Our Diary for Lark Hill, Hangleton, Hove

These new works were started by our Peter and Will on Tuesday 24th February 2004.

Virtually the whole of the rear garden is to be changed!

The existing slopes are to be terraced to give level play areas.

There is to be a large lower paved area with a wall up to a smallish lawn. Next a swept rockery to the major grass area with a bank up to the upper terrace.

The upper area will include space for a large shed and ample seating area. From here you can just see the sea!

This is a long 160 odd foot garden, rather narrow, but we are creating a fairly easily managed garden for their growing family!

There is a small front garden which we are paving using the ex-council crazy paving to blend with the existing concrete steps!

Just in one day all the turf, rockery stone and most of the paving arrived! All had to be barrowed up the drive and up the slope. It wasn't planned to all arrive together but it so often happens that way!
